Kabul (BNA) a senior commander of armed Taliban was arrested in an operation conducted by national army troops in Kandahar province and a quantity of weapons and explosive materials seized yesterday.
According to national defense Ministry’s press office, the national army forces conducting a cleansing operation in the relevant areas of Maiwand district of Kandahar province arrested a commander of armed Taliban. 2 heavy and light weapons, 5 ammonium nitrate and 18 kg of narcotics were seized.
