Maimana (BNA) Eight policemen were martyred by Taliban attacks on their hideouts in Qaisar District, Faryab province last night.
Karim Yorish police spokesman of Qaisar district told BNA, Taliban stormed on police checkpoints in Almar bazaar, which caused martyring of eight policemen including Wahid Bai one of uprising people commander and five other policemen have been wounded.
According to Almar district governor, fight continues between the two sides, and heavy casualties inflected to Taliban.
