Condolence Books Opened In Political Missions Abroad

Kabul (BNA) Condolence books have been opened in a number of Afghanistan diplomatic missions to foreign countries for registering condolence by foreign officials on the occasion of death of late Marshal Mohammad Qasim Fahim, the first vice president of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
According to directorate of public information for Ministry of Foreign Affairs to BNA, the condolence books have been opened in Afghanistan diplomatic missions to Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Geneva, Swiss and Karachi of Pakistan.
The ministry said in a statement, “A large number of international organizations and foreign countries’ ambassadors, military and political representatives in their condolence messages have condoled the death of Marshal Mohammad Qasim Fahim to President Hamid Karzai, cabinet members and Afghanistan nation, wishing peace and stability in Afghanistan.
