Kabul (BNA) Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah said yesterday that the youth play key role for the people’s aspirations by their civil activities.
In a meeting with the Collective of Afghan Elites from 11 provinces, the collective members expressed support of the national unity government, the BNA reports.
They also announced support of the chief executive office plans and programs in brining basic reforms and changes, calling the programs for the national interest and stability in the country. They elites’ collective said it had worked on agriculture, mines and urbanization to present them to the chief executive, asking for Abdullah’s help in implementation of the schemes. They said the schemes were made professionally. The chief executive expressed happiness for the youth’s efforts on the important issues, saying: “The issues of mines, agriculture and urbanization are constructive in the economic development.” He promised the youth of assessing their schemes to pay better and serious attentions. According to another report, Abdullah met the elders of Baghlan province. The elders expressed concerns of the security condition in the province and the chief executive said the matter would be discussed in the Security Council session.
