Jalalabad City (BNA) Several people were killed and wounded following traffic accident occurred in Kabul-Jalalabad highway this morning.
The incident happened in Mahipar region, while three cars with high speed after crashed veered off the road and plunged in to the river with its passengers.
So far the exact number of victims of the incident is not clear, but eyewitnesses say, several people were killed and wounded.
In-charge of traffic in Kabul-Jalalabad highway told BNA, a number of people were killed and wounded following the event, but the exact number is not clear.
High speed and carelessness of the drivers are main reasons behind the deadly traffic incident, the source added.
