Kabul (BNA) Deputy to foreign ministry Hekmat Khalil Karzai attended the 22nd conference of council of ministers for security and cooperation (OSCE) from 3-4 December in Belgrade.
Addressing the conference, Khalil Karzai appraised the participants’ Afghanistan’s viewpoints on the security challenges in the country, region and beyond the region which stressed for regional cooperation within the framework of Asia Heart Process and RECCA.
He also said that Afghanistan is committed to expand cooperation with OSCE in any field that it can. Deputy to foreign ministry, Khalil Karzai also highlighted the viewpoints of Afghanistan in the meeting of OSCE Troika and its Asian partners with regard to boosting cooperation among OSCE and its Asian partners. Similarly, Khalil Karzai held meetings with the head of delegations from Norway, Thailand, Maldives, Mangolia and deputy to prime minister of Serbia and exchanged views on matters relating mutual interests including security threats.
