Reforms In Electoral System To Be Definitely Implemented; Muhaqiq

Kabul (BNA) Nicholas Haysom, UN Special Envoy to Afghanistan called on Chief Executive Second Deputy Mohammad Muhaqiq the other day in Kabul.
In the meeting, both sides discussed political, security and economic issues and formation of electoral reforms commission.
The UN special envoy to Afghanistan expressed concern over slowness of reforms process in electoral organs.
In return, Muhaqiq while assuring of the government’s determination for bringing reforms in electoral organs said works on implementation of the reforms might be slow, but it would be definitely implemented.  
Related to increase of insecurities, Muhaqiq said that appointment of new defense minister experienced in jihad, resistance and the past ten years could address insecurity problems, adding that security-related issues would be addressed by appointment of new governors and provincial police chiefs.
Muhaqiq further said for reduction of poverty and unemployment in Afghanistan, work on those projects suspended around the country should be resumed.
