KABUL (BNA) Japan strives to increase its aid in Afghanistan, in the sectors of people’s livelihood, alternative cultivation of poppy, treatment of drug addicts and other sectors said Takashi Okada.
In a meeting, with country’s Foreign Minister, Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Japanese ambassador assured that his country will increase aids to Afghanistan.
The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan foreign Minister, Muttaqi thanked Japan for the assistance of $106 million dollars and the positive diplomatic interaction with Afghanistan.
For his part, ambassador Okada said that they are discussing with the international community find ways to improve economic development in Afghanistan.
In the meantime, he said that his country intends to increase its aid in Afghanistan in the areas of people’s livelihood, to find an alternative to replace cultivation of poppy, treatment of drug addicts and other sectors.
