Kabul (BNA) An armed commander of Taliban was detained in Helmand province today.
The identity of this commander is not clear. He was arrested in a military operation of Afghan and NATO forces from outskirts of Nadali district.
According to NATO press release to BNA, this commander had leadership of terrorist attacks of this group in the vicinities of Marja district.
In this operation, a number of other persons with a quantity of arms have been arrested on charges of cooperation with armed Taliban.
Meanwhile, a commander of Haqani terrorist network was arrested in Khost province today.
According to NATO press release, this commander had responsibilities of this network in Sabri district.
In this operation a cache of arms of Haqani network was discovered.
