Taliban Kidnapped 25 Passengers In Sancharak-Sar-e-Pul Highway

Sar-e-Pul City (BNA) A total of 25 commuters were abducted by Taliban militants in Sancharak-Sar-e-Pul highway late yesterday.
Ali Akbar Andarabi police spokesman of Sar-e-Pul in a telephonic contact with BNA confirmed the abduction of 25 passengers told, efforts has been started to rescue the commuters from the clutch of the insurgents.
Meanwhile, tribal elders are trying to release the abducted people through negotiation with Taliban as soon.
Recently, Taliban attacks on passenger’ conveys have increased in some highways of Afghanistan.
Three days ago at least 300 commuters were abducted by armed oppositions in Kunduz-Badakhshan highway, which 16 of them have shot dead by the rebels.
