Farah (BNA) Nearly 10 policemen were martyred following Taliban attack on their checkpoint in western Farah province yesterday.
Jamila Amini chief of provincial council in Farah reported BNA, ten Afghan national policemen were martyred during the Taliban attack on their checkpoint in Shamalgah region, the provincial capital of Farah province.
According to the source, the attackers took the weapons and ammunitions of the checkpoint as well.
But, Toryali Abdyani the police chief of Farah claimed that four policemen were martyred and three others were wounded following the attack, but said nothing about the plundering of the checkpoint.
