Taliban Militants Sustain Heavy Causalities

Kabul (BNA) At least 21 Taliban militants were killed and 17 others were wounded during Afghan security forces’ air and ground operations across the country.
The operations were launched in the past 24 hours and 27 insurgents including their notorious commander were also arrested by Afghan military forces.
Ministry of National Defense press office stated BNA, the operations were conducted in different parts of Ghazni, Herat, Helmand, Nimroz and Laghman provinces, in which 21 militants were killed, 17 wounded and 27 others were arrested.
Some heavy and light weapons, ammunitions, vehicle packed with explosive materials and a depot of chemical materials have been discovered and seized following the operations, the source added.
During the operations seven Afghan National Army troops embraced martyrdom due to roadside mines explosions.
