Twenty-Six Armed Insurgents Killed

Kabul (BNA) Twenty-six armed insurgents were killed in a series of clearing operations conducted by national police forces in different parts of the country.
Interior ministry press office said BNA,  the national police forces  conducting several operations in relevant areas of Kunar, Nangarhar, Samangan, Faryab, Sar-e-Pul, Zabul, Urozgan, Maidan-Wardak, Logar, Ghazni, Paktika and Helmand provinces in which 26 armed insurgents killed, 17 wounded and 11 others arrested.
A quantity of heavy and light weapons was seized in the operations.
Also the national police forces discovered and defused 19 mines in Kabul, Laghman, Baghlan, Faryab, Kandahar, Urozgan and Paktika provinces.  T. Suraya-Yarzada
