Agreement Signed By Kabul New City Board, MRRD

Kabul (BNA) A cooperation agreement was signed by the New Kabul City Independent Board and Ministry of Rehabilitation and Rural Development (MRRD). 
The senior minister and chairman of the New Kabul City Independent Board Hedayet Amin Arsala called the new project a unique move in the history of the country and coordination of activities among different organs as positive and beneficial for the economic progress in Afghanistan. 
Eng.  Atiqullah Khwasi acting Minister of MRRD called the New Kabul City a large national project and expressed the support of the ministry towards this project with respect to coordination of development programs. 
Eng. Ghulam Sakhi Hassanzada head of executive administration for development of Kabul New City also explained the project as important national program saying that currently 44 villages and localities are under the Master Plan for the New Kabul City. 
For financing the development of the remaining villages and execution of the second phase of development of villages, MRRD in coordination with the NKCB shall procure the needed resources so that the program moves parallel with the creation of the NKCB. 
On the basis of this agreement the MRRD will provide a joint working team for coordination of activities with the NKCB.  The agreement was signed by Eng. Atiqullah and Eng. Ghulam Sakhi Hasanzada.
