Kabul (BNA) High-ranking government officials, a number of universities’ lecturers, civil society members, people councils and local people called on Second Vice President Sarwar Danish.
According to BNA, the participants in the separate meetings congratulated Second Vice President, Sarwar Danish on the occasion of victory of Change and Continuation electoral team, formation of national unity government and Second Vice President Office, considering his selection as Second Vice President as suitable and hoping that the new government could take successful step forward related to fulfilling demands and wishes of the country’s inhabitants in various areas as maintaining justice and participation of people in structures of government institutions and delivering services.
The participants considered recent steps of the new government as hopeful, assuring that Afghan people would seriously support the new government.
They wished the new government further success towards services to the people and maintaining stability in the country, stressing on implementation of pledges of the government in various sectors as good-governance, reforms, maintaining security, counter corruption and consolidation of national unity in the country.
In return, Second Vice President, Sarwar Danish while expressing happiness and praising the participants for their will considered participation of the people of Afghanistan in holding the elections and formation of national unity government as efforts of all in reaching to stability in Afghanistan, asserts that the new government would seriously act on implementation of reform programs in the country.
