Kabul (BNA) Chaired by the president of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, the cabinet meeting approved the counter-corruption national strategy and directed the government organs for implementation of their work plan after the approval of the second-vice president, the presidential office said.
The cabinet meeting also directed ministers to avoid dual conducts with the parliamentarians and senators and make effort to deal equally in meeting their problems.
An additional budget for the national fiscal year of 1396, was also approved by the meeting. According to the statement, minister of finance suggested an additional budget of 168, 114 million afs to the ordinary budget and 144, 511 million afs to the development budget for the 1396 national fiscal year, which was approved by the cabinet meeting.
Suggested by the ministry of foreign affairs’ deputy to the finance and administration, the cabinet meeting instructed the ministry of foreign affairs to send the contracts with waived taxation to the ministry of finance for approval, the statement said.
