Aibak (BNA) The construction work of 8 km road in Kohistani Tai Khonak area center of Samangan province was completed.
Engineer Sayed Homayoon head of Samangan public work said to BNA, this road newly constructed and linked residents of 25 villages of Tai Khonak area to Aibak city.
The work of this road started from Tasma village and continued to the center of Tai Khonak area. This road has 8 km length and 6km wide, and 20 cm graveled.
Along this road five bridges and 20 meter retaining wall was constructed to protect the road from damages.
Head of public work added that this road was constructed at the cost of 500,000 dollars and was implemented within 9 last months through UNDP office.
