Maidan-Shaher (BNA) Safiullah a senior commander of Taliban was killed by Afghan and NATO forces in Jalrez district of Maidan-Wardak province yesterday.
Ataullah Khogyani spokesman of Maidan-Wardak governor said BNA, Safiullah was a senior commander of Taliban in Jarlrez district and had active role in several terrorist incidents.
According to Khogyani, the security forces of Jalrez district in a separate operation arrested an insurgent with a Kalashnikov.
Another report says, two civilians were martyred in explosion of a mine in Chek district of Maidan-Wardak province.
