KABUL (BNA) Kabul Municipality mayor Mawlawi Abdul Rashid Baluch today Wednesday told the media that 181 new development projects worth more than 4.8 billion Afs will be implemented in the current 1401 solar year.
Mr.Balooch Speaking at a news conference at the Emirate’s Information and Media Center, said the planned 181 new projects will provide job opportunities for dozens of Afghan citizens across the country.
According to BNA reporter, the Kabul mayor asked all citizens to join hands in cooperating with the Kabul Municipality toward implementing the projects.
Mohammad Asif Jalalazi, Head of Planning and Policy of Kabul Municipality, presented details on the year 1401 development projects and said from the estimated 8 billion Afs more than 4.8 billion is dedicated to development projects and the rest is for the ordinary budget.
There is a chance 5 to 10 percent deficit in Kabul Municipality budget in the current year, added Jalalzai.
It is mentionable that Kabul Municipality is the only administration to provide public service for almost 5 million citizens in Kabul.
