Foreign Ministry Employees To Be Provided With Shelter

Kabul (BNA) Janan Musazai spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry told a press conference that alongside the measures of the ministry for provision of shelter to the ministry’s diplomats, the bodies of 12 Afghans were temporarily laid to rest in Greece.
Sometimes back over 20 Afghans who were intending to move towards Europe from Greece illegally were drowned in Greece.
It is said that seven bodies of the Afghans were transported to Afghanistan by the Foreign Ministry.
He noted that since the identities of some Afghans were not identified they are being temporarily buried in Greece and they will be transported after identifying their identities.
He stressed that the ministry intends to provide shelter for the Afghan diplomats from its development budget and sufficient salaries paid to them.
It was stated earlier that some of the Afghan diplomats whose mission is completed they do want to return to the country.
He attributed the main reason of this the diplomat’s economic strains and lack of shelter in Afghanistan.
The ministry is implementing this measure to encourage the diplomats to return to the country after expiry of their mission.
He noted that the chairman of the National Security Council of Iran has called the gains of the past ten years in Afghanistan as unique.
He noted that Afghanistan is happy with its relation with Iran and Iran supports the peace process led by the Afghans.
