KUNAR (BNA) The National statistic and information authority of Kunar officials say that with two active electronic ID distribution branches in Kunar province, they have distributed more than 19,400 national electronic ID cards in the late recent months, collecting about 11 million Afghanis.
Kunar’s director of statistics and information Mawlavi Abdul Ghafar Zaki said the province’s electronic ID card distribution department, with 62 staff members, provided e-ID distribution services to male and female applicants on a daily basis.
The electronic ID card distribution department in Kunar is usually open to applicants from 8 am to 4 pm, which handles around 130 applications a day and distributes printed ID cards. zaki added.
He said that in the last few months, they have distributed more than 19,400 electronic ID cards and have collected nearly 11 million afghanis in revenue to the state exchequer.
The National statistic and information authority (NSIA) has been able to reopen the electronic ID distribution departments across the country, restore the national electronic ID distribution process to its normal form and provide the necessary facilities to the applicants.
The price of an electronic ID card is 300 afghanis and a duplicate ID card is 500 afghanis, besides there are no any other charges. according to NSIA.
