President Ghani Left Kabul for Nangarhar

Jalalabad (BNA) President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan at the head of the delegation left Kabul for Nangarhar today.

During the trip, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani will meet with civil and military officials, writers and cultural figures, local elders and youth.

He will also attend the opening ceremony of forty-five new schools and the opening of an exhibition of Mediterranean fruits in Jalalabad.

Zia-ul-Haq Amarkhail, the governor of Nangarhar, contacted the BNA and stated that the purpose of his visit to Nangarhar is to study the security situation, the process of fighting terrorism, how to govern, developmen and rebuilding.

The president accompanied by his first deputy, Amrullah Saleh, Hamadullah Moheb, national security adviser, and a number of cabinet and parliament members.
