Kunduz National ID office Raised a Revenue of 6m Afs

KUNDUZ (BNA) The province’s local officials in northern of the country said on Tuesday that the National ID office has collected a revenue of six million Afghanis after resumption over the past few months.

Head of Kunduz Statistics and Information office, Mawlavi Fazlullah Safi, said that the province, with three active National-ID distribution centers, has so far distributed National-IDs to more than 25,000 applicants, which is revenue of more than 6 million Afghanis has been collected and transferred to the government treasury account.

According to Safi, the National electronic ID card distribution centers in Kunduz, with a total of 89 employees, record the biometric information of about 500 applicants daily.

In addition, to the distribution of National ID to applicants the office provides other related services for the citizens, Safi added.

According to the policy of ‘National statistic and information authority’ of Afghanistan (NSIA) the price of an electronic ID card in the country is rated 300 Afs and the price of the replicate is 500 Afs.
