JALALABAD CITY (BNA) At least 27 round of different type of mines have been discovered and defused by Afghan security forces in eastern Nangarhar province within the last 24 hours.
Senior military official in the east of the country told BNA correspondent, the mines have been discovered and neutralized during a military operation conducted by Afghan security forces in different parts of Acheen district of Nangarhar province.
Clearing operations for suppressing anti-government militias ongoing in various parts of Nangarhar province, the source added.
