Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani met the senior officials of national army and police here in Arg the other day and viewed the security situation in the country.
Speaking on behalf of others, General Taj Mohammad the commander of 207 Corps of national army and Assadullah Shirzad the commander of 303 Spinghar police zone apprised the president about the security situation and thanked the president for extending support to the national security and defense forces. They also assured the president about the high morale of the security personnel and their professionalism in the war on terror. Addressing the meeting, president Ghani praised the courage of the national security forces and rendering sacrifices in defending the country’s freedom and bringing peace and stability for the citizens. The president also assured that looking after the families of the martyrs and providing medical treatment for the injured personnel of the security forces are the responsibility of the government, saying the government gives priority to provide shelter of personnel of national of the national security and defense forces. The security forces have foiled the enemies’ strategic objective, the President Ghani said, adding we all together should work to ensure better security and stability the citizens.
