Kandahar City (BNA) As many as 13 armed oppositions were killed during recent clashes with Afghan security forces in southern Kandahar province.
The conflicts took place, while the militants wanted to targeted Afghan security forces’ conveys in Spin Boldak district and Kandahar city yesterday.
Afghan National Army’s commander in the south of the country in a telephonic contacts with BNA correspondent confirmed the killing of 13 armed rebels during the clashes.
According to another report, Afghan security forces succeeded to discover and defuse several rounds of mines in Kandahar province yesterday.
According to reports, seven rounds of mines had been planted by Taliban militants to organize a series of bloodiest incidents on innocent civilians and Afghan security forces, but fortunately with discovering and neutralizing the mines, their plans failed.
