Designate Ministers, NDS Pick Explain Work Programs in Lower House

Kabul (BNA) Designate minister for public health, mines and petroleum, telecommunications and information technology and NDS designate director explained their work programs in Lower House of the parliament. According to BNA, general session of the house was held at a time when lawmakers expressed their disagreements over voting to dual citizenship designate ministers. A number of lawmakers stressed that dual citizenship could not prevent voting saying that decision of commissions for education and higher education, international relations and central audition related to dual citizenships was against the country’s constitution and asking that the issue should be approved by general session of the house. Despite of decisions over dual citizenships, designate minister for public health, mines and petroleum and Barna Karimi and designate director for NDS were given chance to explain their work programs and replied to questions made by lawmakers. It is determined that a number of other designate ministers will deliver their work programs to general session of the house.
