Farah (BNA) Extra round of polio vaccination began in Farah province, while a positive case of polio recorded in that province today.
In this round, the polio vaccination will be implemented in five districts and center of Farah province.
Abdul Jabar Shayeq the head of public health of Farah province said BNA; in this round 120,000 children under the five will be vaccinated in center and five districts of Farah province.
Shayeq added according to the World Health Organization (WHO) a positive case of polio has been discovered and recorded in Khak Safeed district of the province.
He added for prevention of spread of disease, the extra round of polio vaccination will be implemented for three day in center and districts of the province.
