Afghan refugees’ status in Turkey to be addressed

Kabul (BNA) The authorities of the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriates informed over efforts made by the ministry toward solution of problems of Afghan refugees in Turkey.
Islamuddin Juraat, the spokesperson of the ministry said that in 2011 around 11,000 Afghans lived in Turkey as refugees and as result of efforts during the visit of the minister of refugees and repatriates of Turkey around 2,000 of Afghan received 8-months stay documents and efforts are going on so that a specific mechanism is prepared for addressing the problems of the Afghans in that country.
It is said that some of the Afghan refugees are passing very difficult time in Turkey.
According to them they have no access to social services, their children are deprived of schools and they cannot get medical aid and they are asking for immediate solution of their problems.
