Gardiz (BNA) Four armed insurgents with their weapons were arrested by national army forces the night before last.
Colonel Zalami Oryakhail police chief of Paktia said BNA, the 203 army crops stationed in Paktia province conducting nightly operation in Kosen area Sayedkaram district of Paktia province, killed four armed insurgents.
According to Oryakhail, a PK machine gun, a rocket launcher, 2 sets of communication, 2 Kalashnikovs and 2 motorcycles were seized.
According to another report, three kidnappers were arrested by national security forces from relevant areas of Farah city the night before last.
A source of national security department of Farah said BNA, the kidnappers wanted to abduct a national merchant, arrested with cooperation of people by police.
