Youth Should Be Aware of Country’s Laws, Sadat

Kabul (BNA) Seminar titled ‘youth awareness of the country’s laws’ was held by ministry of information and culture for further awareness of Afghan youth from the laws of the country.
In the seminar attended by a large number of youth and relevant institutions’ officials, acting minister of information and culture Dr. Kamal Sadat spoke related to importance of law in human society and asserted that respecting the laws and depending on acting could save the society from riots and disorders; therefore, unawareness of laws was not considered as excuse. According to acting minister of information and culture, youth was a big part of Afghanistan society and in case that youth were aware of the country’s laws, a big part of Afghan society would be aware of laws; therefore, the ministry of information and culture launched the seminar. He said that the country’s constitution was considered as mother of laws and law has prepared opportunities for other laws to be made in various sections. Sadat further said that MoIC was working on a program to expand awareness of the people about the country’s laws in various sections and aware the people of importance of law in social life. In the seminar, representative of independent commission for overseeing the implementation of constitution, representative of justice ministry and representative of civil society association spoke related to importance and values of law in social and political life, stressing that Afghan youth who were a big part of the society should be further aware of the country’s laws.
