Mansoor Shared New Plans with Deputy PM Kabir

KABUL (BNA): Acting Energy and Water Minister Abdul Latif Mansour, shared a new plan for the expansion and independence of electricity and water management with Mawlawi Abdul Kabir deputy political prime minister on Tuesday.

During a Meeting, Acting Minister Mansoor and Dr. Farooq Azam, advisor to the ministry, briefed the Deputy Prime Minister on the Ministry’s mission, plans, and achievements.

Deputy Kabir, understanding the obstacles, operations, and progress of the Ministry of Water and Energy, assured that he will work and cooperate to implement the plan for energy development and water management.

Afghanistan, despite having great sources of power production, still imports most of its power needs from neighboring countries.

Earlier, Officials in the Islamic Emirate have said they have working to generate electricity for the country’s water source, manage water and attain independence in power generation.
