Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani yesterday called for the solution of the problem of water shortage in Kabul.
In meeting with members of the commission for reforms and urban development held in Arg, the president after receiving the reports, planning and proposals of the commission members emphasized for devising comprehensive plans to overcome the potable water shortage in Kabul city, besides studying water reservoir in the new Kabul city.
The president also stressed that an all-inclusive plan on environment to increase greenery in Kabul should also be prepared wherein the modalities of use of Kabul Mountains examined.
Matters relating on how to improve the city transport system and traffic was also discussed in the meeting and the president emphasized for having plans to achieve the goal.
