KABUL (BNA) Dozens of development projects have been implemented in Nangarhar under the Program “Work Against Food”
The projects include the construction of roads, schools and bridges, and the cleaning of canals and rivers, which have been implemented in some parts of Nangarhar.
An official of the Nangarhar Department of Agriculture told BNA the laborers of these development projects are given wheat in exchange for their services.
He said that dozens of other projects are planned to be implemented in other parts of Nangarhar soon within the framework of the program.
The program also provides job opportunities to hundreds of young people in the region.
