Kabul (BNA) In two military operations carried out by security forces in Nuristan and Samangan provinces five armed Taliban killed.
The operations which launched on the hideouts of the armed Taliban two rebels were also arrested.
BNA quoting NATO reports says, during the operations five armed Taliban killed and two other were arrested.
NATO says, while they were designing their terrorist attacks in their hideouts came under the attack of NATO and Afghan forces.
It has been said that the purpose of launching these operations was to arrest a senior member of Islamic movement of Uzbekistan and the Pakistani Taliban but unfortunately they were not on the site.
During the operations two caches of weapons discovered and evacuated.
Also NATO reported the death of an armed militant and a member of Haqqani network in Logar and Ghazni provinces.
