President Approves Allocation For Pamir

Kabul (BNA) President Hamid Karzai approved Afs 10,430,000 for increase of health care services in Pamir areas of Badakhshan province.
The allocation of fund is made as per the proposal of the ministry of public health including:
– Buying of an ambulance for basic health center of Khandod form the government budget by the Agha Khan Foundation at afs 2,800,000.
– Increasing of five beds at the basic health center of Khandod at the annual cost of afs 1,000,000.
– Employment of midwife at the Khandod basic health center with an expenditure of afs 470,000 annually.
– Construction of a building for the sub-health center at the upper Pamir at the cost of afs 2,240,000.
– Construction of a building for the sub-health center at the small Pamir at the cost of afs 2,240,000.
– Creation of a sub-health center at the small Pamir at the cost of afs 1,680,000.
