Takhar (BNA) Public Health Ministry informed provision of some medical and non-medical equipment quantity worth 24 million Afghanis for the provincial health department of the province.
Dr. Abdul Qahar Ahmadi, Director of Public Health in Takhar Province, said the equipment has been provided in assistance by Bakhtar Development Network (BDN) Office, financed by UNICEF and World Health Organization in Afghanistan, added to the Ministry of Public Health on his Twitter Page.
Public Health Director of Takhar Mr. Ahmadi, while appreciating BDN, UNICEF, and the World Health Organization’s cooperation in Afghanistan, said: “The equipment will be distributed in four hospitals and 80 health clinics sited in the districts of the province.”
The Public Health Ministry beforehand asked for international donors and aid agencies’ assistance in the health sectors of Afghanistan, irrespective of political subjects to upsurge public access to health services.
