Aibak City (BNA) A member of high peace council shot dead by Taliban militants in northern Samangan province yesterday.
Dr. Nematullah after Morning Prayer moving toward his home, which was targeted and killed by armed oppositions.
A police official in the province told BNA reporter, the attackers succeeded to flee from the area.
Efforts has starting to identify and capture the perpetrators of the event, the source added.
Dr. Nematullah was an influential person in Samangan province, he many times declared that killing of innocent people by Taliban militants are against Islamic teachings.
