Lashkargah City (BNA) At least 17 armed oppositions were killed following air attacks carried out by Afghan air forces in southern Helmand province.
The terrorists have been targeted and killed, while they were busy on organizing a series of terrorist and destructive activities in vicinity of Lashkargah city the provincial capital of Helmand province.
Senior commander of Afghan national army in the south of the country told BNA correspondent, 17 anti-government militias were killed and several hideouts belonging Taliban militants have been destroyed during the air raids.
According to another report, Afghan security forces succeeded to discover two weapon storages belonging Taliban terrorist group in Helmand province.
Security officials in Helmand claimed that some heavy and light weapons have been seized from the storages.
Meanwhile, six round of different type of mines have been discovered and confiscated by Afghan security forces in relevant areas of Sangeen district and Lashkargah city the provincial capital of the province.
