Tajikistan Turkmenistan Asking For Peaceful Settlement of Afghanistan Problems

Kabul (BNA) Presidents of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan in an official statement have said the two countries had similar vision that political and peaceful ways through comprehensive talks would be the only way for solution of Afghanistan current problems.
The statement was issued Friday by press office of Tajikistan President.
The statement added that military ways and making use of power for solution of Afghans’ domestic problems would cause reversed results and had no prospect.
The statement also said that Turkmenistan and Tajikistan were supporting the international community for its support to Afghanistan government so that the country was assisted to effectively join in regional and world economic process.  
The statement was issued amid military operations launched by Afghan security forces and led by the country’s first vice president Gen. Abdul Rashid Dostum in Faryab province.
Tajikistan and Turkmenistan have common borders and religious and cultural relations with Afghanistan and both countries are suffering drugs being trafficking through Afghanistan.
