ANSF Capable To Suppress Enemy In Face To Face Confrontations

Sunday 4, August 2013
Kabul (BNA) The security transition process from international forces to the Afghan security institutions have entered its 5th phase and soon overall security responsibilities of the country will be shouldered by the Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF).
Since start of the transition process, the enemies of Afghanistan have utilized all available tactics and activities to create security challenges to the Afghan troops to create doubt among public perception in Afghanistan and in international arena over war capabilities of our soldiers. But, the Afghan National Security Forces after foiling conspiracies of the enemy have proved that these organs were enough capable to suppress plans of the enemy anytime and anywhere. In the meantime, Afghan ministry of defense has said the militants have been failed to recapture those areas from the ANSF where security transition process has completed. In his recent news conference, General  Zahir Azimi spokesman of the ministry of national defense said that ANA soldiers despite facing major problems bravely encountered the enemy that intended to overshadow their military capabilities, adding that ANSF foiled series of coordinated terror attacks by the insurgents in different parts of the country and it ratifies of that ANSF can provide security coverage to Afghanistan after the timeframe set for evacuation of international troops from the country in 2014. Talking on war capabilities of Afghan National Security recently, an international Security Assistance Forces (ISAF) spokesman had said that enemies of Afghanistan are struggling to create security challenges to the Afghan forces and the coordinate attacks that had foiled by the Afghan forces in recent months in Kabul approve their power. Political commentator and military analysts believe that currently the insurgents have lost face to face confrontations and because of that the militants are resorting to suicide bombings. Analysts emphasize that militants groups are pursuing these activities by seeking cooperation and financial expenditures from intelligences services of regional countries. The Taliban and their counterparts are resorting to act of terrorism inside the cities and villages of Afghanistan to create state of chaos and horror among the general public and forge mistrust among the people on the war capacities of Afghan national security forces. However, The Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) has proved its military capabilities by relating effectively against the enemy. But, international community particularly allies of Afghanistan with whom Afghanistan has signed strategic cooperation partnership agreements should equip Afghan troops with modern technology and latest weaponries, in order to help these forces foil security challenges after the withdraw of international forces from the country in 2014. Afghan forces should be providing logistics and transportation planes as well to accelerate deployment of the forces in different regions easily.
