KABUL (BNA) Rashid Khan, the renowned star of the country’s cricket, has returned to his homeland after four-years. The talented cricketer was greeted with immense enthusiasm by officials from the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) and a multitude of jubilant citizens at Kabul International Airport.
Rashid Khan, who had been away from Afghanistan due to his commitments with both the national team and his club overseas, expressed his delight at finally being able to reunite with his country and its cricket fans.
Speaking to reporters on his arrival, the sports icon shared the reasons behind the delay in his return. He attributed it to his relentless dedication to representing Afghanistan in international competitions and fulfilling his commitments to his club, which required him to be away from home for an extended time.
