Herat (BNA) The second gathering of international journalistic morality with the participation of Deen Mohammad Mubarez Rashidi the deputy publication of the ministry for information and culture was opened in Herat yesterday. Backed by media outlets Hewad, Kleed and Radio Dunay with the objective to discuss the journalistic ethic, the exhibition was attended by journalists. Cultural figures and directors of media outlets, head of journalists center, Mr, Quraishi said. He also added that Ahmad Ahsan Sarwaryar the director of information and cultural department in Herat city also attended the forum. In his speech, Mr. Rashidi described the media development and press freedom one of the important achievements of the government and better than other countries.
Presciently there are some 1000 printing media outlets, 50 television channels, 500 production companies, 700 printing press and dozens radio channels in the country, he went on to say. Head of media watchdog Sediqullah Tawhidi, head of Kleed Group Mrs, Najibi Ayubi and two professors of Herat University professors Hadid and Mrs. Adila Kabiri also spoke on the occasion and later on the forum concluded with question and answers.
