Ongoing Military Operation Slaughter Dozens Rebels in Helmand

Lashkargah City (BNA) Dozens rebels have died during ongoing military operation conducted by Afghan security forces in various parts of southern Helmand province.
Commander of Afghan National Army in the south of the country told BNA correspondent, the operation since two weeks ago has started to annihilate armed oppositions and ensure peace and stability in different parts of Sangeen, Nawa districts and Lashkargah city the provincial capital of the province, as a result 56 Taliban fighters including their several commanders and Pakistani insurgents were killed.
Several Taliban’s hideouts have been destroyed and dozens have and light weapons belonging the terrorist group have seized during the operation.
Hundreds Afghan National Army, Afghan National Police, National Directorate Security (NDS) personnel and Afghan Commando forces participating in the operation.
Several villages have been clean-up from being of armed oppositions and the operation is in progressing, Ahmad Jawed Salim spokesman of Commando forces says.
It is mentionable that dozens rebels were wounded during the operation as well.
