House Of People Proposes Referring Of Complain To The UN Security Council Over Pakistan Rocket Attacks

Kabul (BNA) Chaired Abdul Rauf Ibrahimi the House of people in its general meeting congratulated the advent of Eidul-Fitr to all Muslims of Afghanistan and the world and discussed other issues on its agenda.
Some of the deputies touched on the security situation in the country and said occurring of explosion, increased abductions and terrorist incidents in different parts of the country has risen serious among the people.
They said that security situation in general and particularly in the north have become more serious and in case no immediate attention is directed at this.
The people would face numerous problems during the presidential election in 2014.
Other deputies while condemning the suicide attacks, abductions and killing of innocent civilians, noted that unless Allah’s order is applied on the criminals, those problems will not be resolved.
They said that so far none of the terrorists, killers and abductors has been punished severely and hanged and in case they are hanged before the eyes of the people no one will dare to resort to such crimes.
Some other deputies did not consider the recent assertions of the president to the Taliban to the interest of the country and emphasized that Taliban with its suicide bombings and terrorist acts are killing hundreds of the innocent people including the children, women and elderly people in the month of Ramadan but this has been defined with doubt in the address of the president.
They asked the president to put an end to reconciliation and resort to serious measures and also asked that qualified and specialist persons are appointed to the Ministries of Defense and Interior Affairs and introduce them for receiving vote of confidence from the House of People.
The deputies also discussed Pakistani rocket attacks on the border regions of Afghanistan and they said that since diplomatic efforts in this respect has not yielded positive results, so the government of Afghanistan should lodge a protest to the UN Security Council in this respect.
The deputies reiterated that Afghanistan has severely affected due to interventions of neighboring countries and the position of the House of People is clear in respect to rocket attacks of Pakistan and the deputy’s whish that Afghanistan should refer this issue to the UN Security Council.
They also expressed concern over the attacks of the Afghan armed forces on their international partners and emphasis is made that the president and the security and intelligence service of the country in cooperation with the international partners should resolve this problem as soon as possible.
As regards the people’s revolt against the Taliban in some regions of the country, the deputies said that the people have become fading up of oppression of the Taliban and this revolt indicates that people have developed indignation and hatred against the Taliban.
They asked the government to support these revolts and do not allow that these revolts are misused by the enemies.
The issue of Salang Highway was also taken up by the deputies. They asked the government to undertake reconstruction of the highway.
In attention of the Kabul Municipality in provision of city services, the city sanitation was seriously criticized and said that presently the Kabul Municipality has been turned into an irresponsible administration.
The employment process of the district governors was another issues discussed by the deputies of the house, they said that due to non observation of the proper employment process the people are facing difficulties in Kapisa and Parwan provinces because the district governors are not from those areas so the people are not cooperating with them.
The House of People criticized inattention of the government in proper celebration of the 93rd Independence Day (28th of Assad) saying that all the countries are celebrating their national days in good manners, but this day was not observed in a good manner in Afghanistan.
