Pakistani Journalists Call On Minister Jahani

Kabul (BNA) Abdul Bari Jahani, Minister of Information and Culture met with a number of Pakistani journalists the other day.
In the meeting, an official of the visiting program for Afghanistan and Pakistan media Asadullah Daudzai said the program aimed at promoting positive reports between media of the two countries, creating enduring relations and institutionalizing relations between media of the two countries. He added that they wanted to create good will between Afghanistan and Pakistan through visiting the two countries. Meanwhile, Pakistani journalists shared their views with Minister of Information and Culture in connection with expansion of relations between media of the two countries. After hearing the Pakistan journalists’ views, Minister of Information and Culture asserted that to echo information and facts, it was needed that the most recent news should be published without any censors in all media. In the meeting, deputy minister of information and tourism for information and culture Zardasht Shams said that the people of Afghanistan had access to Pakistani media, while the people of Pakistan had no access to Afghanistan media.
