President Karzai Chairs NSC Meeting

Kabul (BNA) President Hamid Karzai presided over the meeting of National Security Council (NSC) in Arg on Sunday and reviewed the security situation in the country.
According to presidential press office to BNA, in the meeting the documents presented by officials of the security organs indicated that Pakistan has not been loyal to only violate its commitment in war on terror, but it supports Taliban and that is why the presence of Pakistani military personnel and advisors has increased among terrorists in Afghanistan.
In addition to continued subversive activities and supporting terrorism, the Pakistan army in violation of agreements between the two countries and international laws and good neighborhood, has increased artillery shelling on Dangam and Shigal districts, Kunar province.
Describing action of the Pakistani military as an open aggression against the national sovereignty of Afghanistan, stressed that in spite of close relations between the people of both countries, the people and government of Afghanistan won’t leave the incursion to go unresponsive.
The attack of some 1,000 terrorists on Hesarak district, Nangarhar province designed by Pakistani advisors was also discussed in the meeting. It was said that the cooperation of locals with the security forces had led to the defeat of terrorists and leaving behind 134 dead bodies. The National Security Council also lauded the cooperation of the people of Hesarak with the security forces in defeating the terrorists.
At the end of the meeting, the security forces of the country were instructed to do their best in harmony to ensure security across the country.
