Government Assists Naseri Market Shopkeeper Affected By Fire

Kabul (BNA) The shopkeepers of the Naseri market in Kabul which was recently heavily damaged by fire asked the president of Afghanistan for assistance in terms of long-term loans so that they can revitalize their business. 
In the meeting that took place at the presidential palace, the shopkeepers of the Naseri market said that all their goods and capital have been destroyed at the fire and empty-handed they cannot continue their business. 
They also asked construction of the market in a proper place for the affected shopkeepers. 
After hearing the demands of the shopkeepers, president Karzai assigned a commission led by minister of commerce and industries Anwarul Haq Ahadi to study long-terms loans to the shopkeepers and prepare a report till upcoming Sunday to the presidential office. 
He assured the shopkeepers that necessary assistance will be provided to them to enable then resume their business. 
Present at the meeting were ministers of finance and commerce, Kabul Mayor and chairman of the chambers of commerce and industries Mohammad Qurban Haqjo.
