Kabul (BNA) In an operation carried out by police forces in Helmand, 12 rebels killed and 18 other injured.
It has been said the operation was launched in unsecure areas of Marga district, Nadali district and Nawa district of that province.
Omar Jan Haqmal police officer of Nadali district of Helmand said BNA, the operation launched by police forces in area of Tarkha Naaro that located between Nadali, Marga and Nawa districts last night.
According to him in this operation 12 armed Taliban were killed and 18 others injured.
According to the source, during the operation two police men were injured.
Source added, during the operation an amount of weapons of Taliban were seized by police forces.
The operation started last night and will continue until the complete cleaning of the area from rebels.
