President Karzai, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Hold Telephone Conversation

Kabul (BNA) President Hamid Karzai and Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif held telephone conversation the other day. 
According to presidential press office to BNA, the Pakistani Prime Minister during the talks congratulated the successful holding of presidential run-off to president Karzai and the people of Afghanistan. Prime Minister Sharif in the talks also briefed the president about Pakistan military operations against Taliban and terrorists launched recently in Wazirustan, calling for Afghanistan cooperation in this field. For his part, president Karzai said that Afghanistan is ready to extend all kind of cooperation against terrorist sanctuaries on the other side of Durand Line. President Karzai said that both Afghanistan and Pakistan have hugely suffered due to terrorism.
However, president Karzai noted that civilians should not be harmed during the operations in Wazirustan. The Pakistani Prime Minister pointed out that he has same believe with president in protecting civilians. He also said that a special envoy of Pakistan would soon visit Afghanistan for further discussion on the subject.
